After the successful launch of The Royal apartments and Sebel Newcastle Beach in 2010, EnigmaCorp continued to organise and run high-end events on behalf of Mirvac.
EnigmaCorp was engaged to cover all aspects of public relations, media relations and stakeholder engagement for three events from January to May 2011.
The three events were:
A ROYAL EXHIBITION - The Newcastle Beach provided an awe-inspiring backdrop to a colourful collection of coastal theme works by Australian artists and sculptors including iconic Aboriginal artist Minnie Pwerle. More than 90 guests attended the exclusive art exhibition, curated by Olga Harrison of Harrison Galleries at The Royal Apartments’ sales office.
LUXURY PENTHOUSE SUITE LAUNCH - More than 140 people experienced the luxury of the Penthouse Suite at an exclusive evening of food and wine. The penthouse was launched by special guest Deborah Hutton, who hosted the evening. Rustica Head Chef Mark Hosie prepared the delicious canapés, which were served with wines matched by Australian direct wine supplier Wine Selectors.
ROYAL WEDDING RADIO COMPETITION – Facilitated by EnigmaCorp, local radio station NXFM ran a competition to celebrate the Royal Wedding, The winners were treated to drinks and canapés at Bar Petite, manicures and pedicures at The Royal Day Spa, dinner cooked by soon-to-be Head Chef of Rustica Restaurant, Mark Hosie, the views of Newcastle Beach from the luxurious new Penthouse, a night’s accommodation at The Sebel Hotel and finally breakfast at Elements Café the following morning.

Luxury Penthouse Suite Launch

Facilitated a partnership between Mirvac and Wine Selectors for this event. Members of the EnigmaCorp team liaised with Wine Selectors and helped coordinate their involvement in the Penthouse Launch. As part of the partnership, Wine Selectors matched and provided champagne, red and white wine for the event, prizes for the evening, provided copies of Selector magazine, food and wine calendars and food and wine booklets for guest gift bags;

Wrote and distributed three media releases and a media alert, resulting in extensive media coverage;

Liaised with media to attend the evening;

Coordinated social shots for press including the local paper The Newcastle Herald and Hunter Lifestyle Magazine;

Assisted in the organisation of the event, RSVP follow up; and

Provided support on the evening by running and coordinating the event – assistance included briefing guest speakers, greeting guests, sound equipment management for guest speakers, management of hospitality staff.
